Theme for this years conference was "Listening and Learning: Caring Humbly for Missionary Mental Health Needs" I know I've said this before, but once again, it's times like this that remind me of how God works in our lives to connect events, people, circumstances, to point to His active presence (if you're looking). I attended this conference with the focus not only on hearing presentations, but also on making connections with Mental Health practitioners that I had met before who were also serving those on Mission. God didn't disappoint. I met people from African Inland Mission, Tumaini Counseling, Olive Tree Counseling (Budapest), even some I had previously talked with and received referrals through Zoom. It was a good time of networking, sharing, and encouragement. Again, thankful for a church that is committed to living out their Vision, "Every One on Mission."
